       Chen**was a 17-year-old female patient of congenital scoliosis. She had obvious kyphosis because of T12 and L4 half-vertebral body deformity before the operation. The patient underwent the posterior half-vertebral body excision and fusion with pedicle screw fixation. The deformity of scoliosis was to rectify completely. The effect of the operation to rectify the deformity was satisfied.
